What is Meditation?
Meditation has loads of uses
- It helps us relax
- We can develop mindfulness and objectivity
- We can lengthen and deepen our concentration spans
- We can develop "emotional intelligence"
- We can integrate our imagination and intuition
- We can overcome anxiety
- You might even get enlightened (though I can't guarantee that one)
Beginners Classes
The Ongoing Meditation for Beginners sessions starts again on Saturday 7th January 2012 at the Shambhala Studios, 11 Leighcliff Buildings, Maple Avenue, Leigh-on-Sea, SS9 1DJ
The course is a drop in class starting at 12.00 noon and lasts for an hour. Really get to enjoy your weekend.
All are very welcome. There is no charge (though there is a little bowl by the door for donations - approx £3.00 - more if you are rich and want to be generous - less if you are skint!)
